I always knew I wanted to make a difference. After graduating from Miller City-New Cleveland High School, the University of Dayton with my Bachelor's degree, and then The Ohio State University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, I knew my way of doing that was through physical therapy. About 7.5 years into my career though (which I can only describe it as a giant nudge from God), I felt called to open Koch PT and dive into the pelvic health speciality. I feel like patients truly deserve to be listened to and cared for, as if they are a family member.
I know what it feels like to have painful pregnancies and postpartum recoveries that make you wonder, "Is this normal?" I know what it's like to have loved ones deal with the pain of infertility. And several patients have confided in me about the isolation, fear, and uncertainty that comes with a cancer journey.
This is why I continually strive for additional education, attend trainings, and earn certifications including: Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) certification, Breast Cancer Rehabilitation certification, Pelvic Oncology Rehabilitation certification, and more.
I love spending time with my husband and three daughters, who keep me busy outside of the clinic with their activities. They're growing up so fast, so we try to soak up as many moments & memories together as possible!
